I was originally photographing the tree when the woman and dog wandered into the field of view. At first I was upset but decided to wait to see what might happen. After a long time, the woman raised her hand, the dog jumped and I snapped the picture. A few months later I went back to the part to find the woman to give her this picture. Though I had chatted with her briefly, elsewhere in the park, before I took the picture I didn't remember much. I thought I could at least identify the dog. Do you know how many dogs have white throats when you're actually looking for them? Lots. I did not succeed. |
